Article: How to find out my type of skin

How to find out my type of skin
This is the first question you should ask yourself before choosing your facial cream or men’s facial care products.
Depending on your skin type, you will need to use one texture or another, whether to cleanse your face, to tone it or to hydrate your skin.
Oily skin in humid climates
If, for example, you have oily skin and you live in a humid climate, you should use very lightweight textures, such as a hydrating gel instead of a cream, and opt for a sebum-regulating product such as a facial toner spray.
A gel with a tightening effect such as our Anti-Stress Gel is ideal for preventing premature sagging of oily skin.
Dry skin in cold or mountainous climates
If, on the other hand, you have dry skin and live in a cold or mountainous climate, then you should hydrate your skin with a good anti-wrinkle cream and always support it with an anti-aging serum.
A 100% natural anti-aging cream, such as our Anti-Stress Cream, contains all the ingredients needed to hydrate, nourish and regenerate men’s skin in the most effective way and without shine.
Combination or normal skin with marked seasons
However, if you have combination skin, or normal skin, and you live in a climate with very marked seasons, then your facial care will depend on several factors.
Test to discover your skin type in 2 minutes
That’s why we have created a tool that allows you to discover your skin type in just 2 minutes. The tool works as follows:
- You indicate your age range.
- You indicate the climate where you live.
- You answer a series of questions about how your skin feels throughout the day.
Based on this information, the tool will tell you your skin type, and will also create a personalised facial care routine tailored to your skin’s needs.
You can start the test by clicking on the image below:
Other ways to analyse your skin
In addition, nowadays there are devices that allow highly detailed tests of your skin type. They indicate dryness levels, skin thickness, degree of skin imbalance, pore size, and more.
To carry out a thorough skin examination, you can visit your dermatologist or a pharmacy specialised in men’s skincare, where they usually have this type of device to analyse and test your skin type.
You can also visit our page called “ How to know your skin type”, where the different skin types are explained and you can read about the characteristics of each one, helping you understand which one is closest to yours and what specific care each skin type requires.
If you have any additional questions about the products best suited to your skin type, or if you need advice on the most appropriate facial care products for you, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help 😉
