16. Can I scrub a skin with rosacea?

We recommend that you consult your dermatologist, but as a general rule, we don't recommend scrubbing a skin with rosacea. If you do, it should be done very gently, very sporadically, and never while there is a rosacea breakout.

17. What is the difference between this natural scrub and a chemical one with acids?

This scrub uses physical microgranules of apricot kernel, making it gentler and less aggressive than chemical exfoliants like those using AHA/BHA acids. Ideal for men's routines seeking gentler care.

18. Is a mechanical scrub better than a chemical exfoliant?

We don't recommend using retinol because it causes significant irritation and makes your skin more sensitive. In our formulas, we replace retinol with Bakuchiol, which is the natural retinol, to achieve almost the same results, but without the side effects. Therefore, we don't recommend scrubbing your skin if you use retinol. However, you can scrub if you use Bakuchiol.
